Eventually the blue skies
Will turn as dark as ink
The worms will turn over
And further down will sink
Thunder will roll sounding
Like an army of mountains
Trudging from pole to pole
And the ocean will rise
High above the earth
Transforming into God
And here we will remain
Planted helplessly fearful
Loosely in the soft soil
That gravity left behind
No tears left to cry
No anger left to seethe
No hunger left to succeed
Just total vulnerability
Before the core oozes
Slowly to the surface
Burning what’s left of us
Under the watchful eyes
Of eternity
